These were the tools used:

1. Philip Screw Driver
2. Dremel with cutting accessory
3. Needle Nose pliers
4. Hair Tweezers
5. 10mm socket

In this picture you can see where the two small screws hold the valve plate. You really only have one shot of unscrewing them. I advised that you apply as much pressure on the screw head and turn ever so slightly until you break the seal. I was able to get about 50% of them off and the others just ended up being cut off b/c the screw head got stripped.

There also two screws on each side of the valves openings that need to be removed.

In this picture you can see how the plate is off and what is left is just the rod stick.

I used the Hair Tweezers to remove the e-clips on the rods. There are three in total. You will see that there is enough space for you to grab the eclip with the tweezers. Once you have a firm grip just pull and they should easily come right off. After this is done its as simply as unhooking the rods from the Valve Solenoid assemble.

Don’t forget to remove the two 10mm bolts on the Valve Solenoid bracket.
