If you are not able to scan your car for codes, make sure to check the 10AMP fuse inside your car under the driver dash. If this fuse is blown, it will not allow you to use your ODB2 scanner to check for codes.

It’s the BAT 10A – Electronic Parts Fuse Blown. It’s in the middle fuse section all the way at the bottom.
